NOTE: This...is rather AU-ish from their actual background together. I had been curious about a "What if" scenario. That being "What if Faramond returned Huang's feelings?" This is the end results.

Comfort came in the form of of hugs and soft whispers and the salty taste of tears on lips and tongue.

Faramond remembers the first time Huang kissed him: the older boy returning to their room drunk and it was sloppy and wet and accidental; Huang remembers the first time he kissed Faramond: returning to their room drunk and pressing a sloppy kiss to the younger boy's lips on purpose.

Something about the sound of the rain soothed his nerves, made him relax and feel calm; the feel of it against his skin, patting his face and nose and arms and hands just made that feeling even stronger.

"Hey hey hey," Huang caught that broody and sad look on his friend's face and moved to invade his personal space, "frowns don't suit you; smile Faramond...for me."
