He hears her yell, catches the glimpse of something in her hands as she runs in blind fury and rage up the stairs of the reactor. He sees the sword come up but he stops her, wrists gripped firm between a hand as he grabs the sword from her.
A smirk as she tosses her, making sure to cut a swift line down her chest and watches as the blade tears at clothes and skin.
He watches as her small frame hits the stairs and rolls and tumbles down, her body twisting in an uncomfortable position as she lays on her front with blood seeping from the wound on her chest. And he laughs quietly, enjoying the pain he causes her in both mental and physical sense, green eyes ablaze with satanic and crazed glee.
One minor inconvenience would not stand between him and mother, not when the inconvenience was laying in a pool of blood and tears, sobs racking through her body as her life is being drained away, taken by the man who had just moments ago set the entire town ablaze.
And he enters the room to meet ‘mother.’
