You can suggest a prompt based on the theme given or wait until someone gives a prompt and if you like the prompt given, you can claim it and start writing something for it.
I strongly support the bi-weekly proposal. Because 1. it'll give busy people/procrastinators like me more time to do the prompts we pick and 2. it's hard to keep on top of themes every week and even trying to think of any and 3. ...well, yeah, more time. Time is of the essence and all that shizz, you know?
And I swear I'll try to think of a prompt for this theme. Right now I have a head cold so trust me, you don't want me to try and generate one at the moment. It wouldn't be pretty XD
Coming back to school after a war was hard enough, but when Ichigo strides into school with long, flowing black hair and merits the attention not only that of his female classmates, but that of the male persuasion too, what is the Karakura gang gonna do for damage control?! And where is Orihime with all of this happening?
(can be told from either Ichigo or Orihime's perspective - choose which one you think might be more fun)

AHAHAHHAHAH, I LOVE IT! *chews on you* That cheered me up greatly.
Cheesy, hilarious and over-the-top fun at Ichigo's expense (which is pretty much canon anyway) is <3. I love how Evil and Manipulative both Urahara and the Shinigami Women's Association is. I snorted several times through this story, should know.
Anyway, thank you for writing this! It's greatly appreciated.

Glancing at everything laid out on the table, Orihime nodded in satisfaction. It wasn't necessarily something she would have ever pictured herself making, but she knew Ichigo would appreciate her less questionable conquests in the kitchen. Bouncing over to the stove, she stirred the small pot of miso soup on the stove before performing a last-second taste test. Deciding that it was adequately seasoned, she wiped her hands on the small dish towel hanging on the oven's handle. Her brows furrowed as she exited the room, curious as to why Ichigo hadn't emerged from the bathroom. It had been well over forty-five minutes since he had returned home and he typically didn't take that long in the bathroom

Aww, everyone has colds this week! Feel better, guys!
How about Ichigo's hair stayed long after the war - about chapter 419 long, not chapter 420 - and every time he gets it cut, it grows back mysteriously overnight.... because Orihime's rejecting his haircuts. 8D
Ichigo had tried not to go into this night expecting anything. But the last person he expected to be responsible for his rampant hair growth was Orihime. He reached out his free hand towards her and helped her get back on her feet. "So you're the reason why it always grows back
