Last night I went out with a few people from work for drinks and dinner. You know the best bit? Several people took me to one side and enquired if i. I'd seen last Sat's Dr Who and, when I confessed that our video had screwed up the tape half-way through, ii. gave me a blow-by-blow account of what happened. There are many of us. If you've gone digital, it's repeated on BBC3 on Friday at 9pm.
There are many, varied fans. I came across a comm that was dedicated to a fictional girl Doctor Who. Rachel Weiss was playing her, I think. It was too much for me to comprehend.

Oh, excellent choice! I wonder if she'd be Scottish...or less Scottish.
Weisz is a bit too Hollywood, imo.
It's a shame that Sophia Myles(?) who played Madame d. P has already been used, because I was watching her and felt like she really 'got' what the programme/Doctor was all about.
And listen to me, discussing this like it's going to happen.
