Or maybe he accidentally sat you in a section that didn't have a server?

I mean it's definitely bad service to leave someone sitting there not being served, but you didn't exactly give them the benefit of the doubt.

Then why did he put us in one section and then move us to a different one?

He could have had them mixed up. We'll never know.

I'm sure the host wasn't out to get us, but all the servers who looked at us from the other side of the restaurant and never came over? Poo.
