Very short:
innoittaa and I went to the IHOP at Blake Lane & Lee Highway in Fairfax, Virginia around 10:30pm a few weeks ago. The host took us to one section and then changed his mind and sat us on the other side of the divider. Fine, but then we didn't have a server talk to us. We saw a few walk by quickly, avoiding eye contact, or far enough to see but I didn't want to run after someone. We only waited for about ten or fifteen minutes (we were chatting and I lost track of time before she said "hey, shouldn't someone have come over by now?), but in that time we saw another table get seated and order and receive drinks. We were hungry and annoyed so we got up and went to Amphora and they were great. The nearest we can figure is that they thought we were younger than we are (we're early/mid-twenties but we both look fairly young) and they thought we wouldn't spend much money? That's not an excuse at all.
