This particular RPer was my first and by FAR the worst. Then again, I was in what, maybe 6th grade and I found "him" on Neopets, so of course this would be my worst experience.

I'll bet this person is a teenage girl. Despite all the douchery, one thing I must give them credit for is not doing the classic thing teen girls do when trying to pass off as a 'hot guy' online, which is taking a picture of themselves and actually thinking they can pass off as being a boy (always a gay boy, too). Posting a pic of a jrock band is lame and kind of stupid, but at least the person had the brains not to post a pic of themselves and say they're a guy.

They could be a boy, sure. Gut from my experience, I highly doubt they are. This person sounds exactly like many girls I met online who claim to be boys.

It's...possible? But just from my experience with them it seems like they were playing the part of older male in order to get lots of RP ass and attention (because there weren't that many male RPers playing male characters. Or male characters in general. At least from the NP neck of the woods).

no, no. i agree with you; the amount of FTMs is very much outweighed by the amount of women just pretending.

Yeah, I don't know where y'all play, but where I play, unless the girls pretending to be boys are claiming to be FtM, we've got more FtMs than boys who are really girls.

Yeah, I realize sometimes girls do pretend to be boys online for attention, but that doesn't make "I know because I saw a picture" sound any better.
