Dear overly cheerful player,
I know you love your canon--we all love our canon, or we wouldn't bother borrowing their characters! Here's the thing: Just because both of our characters are from the same universe, it doesn't oblige me to play with you.
You have NEVER ONCE finished a thread with me, or any of the other people I've asked about you. I'm sure you have the best of intentions, but I just don't want to play with someone with the attention span of a gnat. STOP TAGGING ME. Also, don't suddenly check your messages and realize that you left five people in Big Plot hanging six months ago and expect people to get involved again, after we've written it off as a lost cause.
You're a nice person OOC, but I do not want to play with you. Ever.
