(no subject)
Using a sock because this person is usually awesome incarnate (I don't even think they watch the community, but still). We play random slash!crack (yes, yes I know, throw your tomatoes now *ducks*) so you'd think there would be less awesome than there usually is. This storyline was an exception.
Dear sweety who I usually love to RP with,
If it has been established that messing with my characters's certainobject is the big red button to make him go all sulky and *hatehatehate* at you... Why in the world did you have your character grab said certainobject and taint it? It was pre-established that my character would view such a thing that way, no matter how nice the thing your character did usually would have been. If you really really want my character to like yours, then it -might- be a good idea to at least stay away from the buttons that are big and red and have neon warning signs on them. I -know- you knew this.
I'm glad you decided we would just retcon all of that and start over. Hopefully this time you'll get that I'm not switching his personality around for you. And I'm really hoping that you remember deliberately choosing a character species custom made to terrify my character, because if not that's going to be one hell of a retcon.

ETA: I just realized that leaving it that vague could make it look like certainobject is a much *ahem* dirtier thing than it really is (especially considering what type of RP I said this is). It's a totally innocent object, I swear! It's just this character is really really protective of it.
