Rm 332 - Saturday evening

Penelope had been exuberant throughout her day. Last night was amazing and her date even more so. She hoped this evening would be just as amazing.

Dressed in red for the occassion, she checked over Hurley's Valentine gift one last time. She hoped he liked what she did for him.

For Claire, she had ordered Callas Lillies and placed the box atop her

Hurley knocked on Penelope's door, having worked the day away and grabbed her gift on his way back to the dorm.

After last night, he just... he just wanted to spend more time with her.

She opened her door and smiled, stepping aside so he could enter. "Happy Valentien'd Day!"

Hurley held out the vase of flowers for her as he entered.

"Happy Valentine's Day," he said.

"Oh, Hurley," she said, taking the vase from him. "They are beautiful."

Penelope turned, stepping over to her desk where she set them down atop it with all the other roses she received today. The flowers he gave her stood out amongst the rest. They were gorgeous.

"Not as much as you," Hurley said. "Can I sit on your bed?"

"Of course you may. I have something for you," she said and while he sat, she removed the scarf that covered the terrarium she'd bought for him.

Picking it up, she carefully handed it to him. "It's a flowering bonsai, Hurley."

Hurley stared at it, a smile on his face. "Oh, wow," he said. "It's amazing."

"I have many terrariums," she told him, though looking around she knew he knew that. "I thought, well, it was my gift to you to share a part of me and what I like. Do you really like it?"

Hurley nodded. "I really do," he said. "And especially, now that you explained it."

"I'm glad," she told him. "Would you like me to set it back for you so you don't have to hold it while you're here?"

Hurley chuckled. "Yeah, that'd be nice," he said. "Kinda hoped to hold other things."

Blushing, she took the terrarium from him and put it back on her desk, then she returned to her bed to sit down by him.

"What kind of other things," she asked, teasing a little.

"You?" Hurley said, with an unabashed smile.

"I like the sound of that," she replied, shyly.

"Awesome," Hurley said. "So, uhhh, your day going okay?

"It is going very well, thank you. Is yours?" she asked, politely.
