Sickness... What a fun test of willpower...
So, I've been sick for at least a week and a half now. Originally I just thought I had a sore throat, but according to the doctor I saw on wedensday I have some disease on the severity level of walking pnuemonia. I got some sort of super anti-bacterial drug that seems to be working. Today was the first day since Tuesday that I could drink cold drinks without pain. I still can't really eat yet, without extreme pain at least. Forcing myself to drink something and bending over in a painfull reaction after each sip just to keep hydrated really sucks. I figure I've been spitting up about a half liter each day of just mucus from this infection.
On a happier side, I went to college orientation/registration. This made me realize that I already know most of the campus, but overall the whole thing was really informative and good. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it alot more if I hadn't been sick. I did get to talk to the network security guys about some of their ridiculous rules. The lead admin basically told me, after he realized I knew what I was talking about it, if I could give them a good excuse for why I wanted to break a ridiculous rule, I could break it. Finding loopholes in rule systems is something I'm really good at, so I don't think I'll have any real problems.
Squeaks has been coming over alot just to keep me company. The fact that we can just hang out with each other, even when I'm spitting up every 5 minutes, and every minute is just awesome shows me how serious our relationship is and how much we really do love each other. Love is good :).
