Today I turned in two of my applications for jobs. The first was at the ABC (and I really hope that I get that job). I went in their and they said, "Oh, were not accepting any more applications." And I was said, "will you guys at least take it and keep it for future reference." And reluctant to take it they, said "sure." So I gave them the application and then they said, "so why do you feel qualified to work here." And I said, "Oh I worked read a lot of the books in here, and I've worked at the Ellen White Research Center." And then the lady was like, "Oh here give me that." So I gave her my resume too, and then she wrote a note on it and said, "PLEASE LOOK." I thought it was cool.
The next one was at Dillard's, which I wouldn't mind working at, but its a bit of a drive. I go in because I was told yesterday that I should return today. So they set me up at this computer, and I fill out all this information, and then they told me to come back for an interview between 3:30 and 4PM that day. So I walked around the mall all dressed up in a suit, it felt kind of cool. I came back for the interview and she was like, "oh you worked at J. Crew?" And I was like "yeah, it was my favorite job." And she was like "well, what got you interested in working at Dillards?" And I said, "the same reason I loved working at J. Crew. I just love to work with people." So the interview went well, and she told me that I had experience, and they only hire people with experience. She said that they should call me in about two weeks with another interview with the manager. But she basically expressed the idea that I may get the job because of my experience and I guess my personality.
Other then for that I almost finished Mission Pilot (the book that I've been reading) and I called David Gates, left a message, and am going to talk to him about being a missionary. So pray for me guys. Cause I need a job to get money to get my pilots license to be a traveling missionary pilot evangelist.
