So this is the last of the Torrisi households for the now, featuring Jonathan. He's the second born of the Torrisi bunch, and this is his second week on his own as an adult. He started off with just 4k, but he's done pretty well since then.
Well, okay, maybe not that well. His mother passed away in the original Torrisi household, and I'm sure he had 'death of a family member' as a fear, because he was rockbottom red when I showed up.
I decided that it was prudent to raise his aspiration ASAP, so Jonathan summoned his current romantic interest, Tristen Benson.
And so Jonathan returned to Platinum aspiration. He's a family sim, from memory, so it wasn't so hard. As for Tristen, she brought 5,000 with her. She's a Knowledge sim with an LTW to become Education Minister, and is currently employed in the slacker track. She also had quite a nice arsenal of items in her inventory to be sold, giving them another 4k.
So here's Tristen in her madeover look, which I wasn't all that keen on. Too much like Meadow Thayer for my liking.
Not that Jonathan minded.
So the next day, Tristen hunted for a job, I changed her hair, Jonathan made breakfast.
They shared that breakfast, and Jonathan went off to work while Tristen hurled it back up.
In the afternoon she had her very first pop, which is a bit of a shame because I was hoping I'd get to show you her new clothes first. Oh well, worse things have happened.
And since Jonathan's LTW is to raise 20 puppies/kittens, they got on with the adopting. The white is the girl called Suzie, the black is the boy called Jake. They're both small dogs.
Jonathan was promoted to Inventor, giving them a nice boost in funds.
I hate dogs. 8\
Baby time!
She had NATURAL TWINS. UGH. One girl, one boy.
The boy is the paler of the two, and named David. He's got his grandmother's brown hair but his mother's blue eyes. Amy is the darker (FRECKLED FFS) one, with her father's black hair and her mother's eyes. I'm pretty happy with the pair, they should turn out very nicely.
Of course, +2 instead of +1 has made the house a bit... crowded. Tristen was put on birth control until I could sort their hot mess of a house out.
Oh and this is when I tried to get summore of Jonathan's LTW achieved. Bring on the puppies!
On Day 5, the kids had their birthday. It was a day early, but I want to get both parents employed ASAP, which is a bit more of a challenge when you've got littlies and no nanny service.
So, here's David and Amy:
On Day 6, Jonathan scuttled off for a long day at work, leaving Tristen to juggle the kids and the dogs.
So... Tristen surrendered the dogs and got two kittens. See, I thought Suzie had been incubating for a few days, because I couldn't get the dogs to try again. No 'try for' = 'incubation', right? Right. Except when it's two dogs who have bickered over bedding so much they've taken their friendship from 100/100 to 23/43. THANKS, GUYS. IHATEDOGS.
The kittens are Alegra, and Bones, who you can't see too well in the dark.
Anyway, with that taken care of, the parents got to the business of natural-twin-parenting.
Annnnnd I built them a house.
The back wall is where it was before, everything else was kind of stretched or moved forwards. The bathroom was made a bigger, decent size. I added a nursery and a small TV room separate to the rest of the house. On the other side is Jonathan's and Tristen's bed. On the whole the furnishings are quite minimal, but I'm sure it'll fill up as the family grows.
Next week, I'll probably chop off that right hand side, shorten it and make a second story, to give the house a more compact appearance. I really really don't like the roofline, it's very much not my style.
Alegra grew up, Bones isn't far behind her. Maybe then we can finally get Jonathan's LTW on the way.
Soooo we'll come back to that in Week 12.
The reno was fairly costly and they didn't have a lot of money to begin with, so by the end of the week they only had 1,000. Since Jonathan owns that petstore, their tax is 15% - $150. A staggering contribution. The population also increases by 3.
