I need a refresher course...

Okay, my Munchkee is a little over two weeks old and she is doing awesome on a 3 hour schedule. Until today. I lost my babywise book a while ago I ordered a new one that hasn't arrived yet. So, I need a refresher on the 45 minute intruder. What are the main causes? I know a low milk supply is one, but I pumped 4 ounces today and gave it to her ( Read more... )

How disgusting. TRAINING your child as if it's a dog? How bout responding to his needs rather than trying to make him conform to you.

Gah.

I didn't think there were women so stupid as to still buy into this shit.

So either you don't have kids (in which case your opinion means nothing to me) or you have kids but you let them run your life and don't teach them anything. TEACHING a child to talk or use a spoon or cover their mouth when they cough is TRAINING.

I didn't think there were women stupid enough not to know those two words were synonymous.

I have two amazing children whom I wouldn't dream of ABUSING. Babywise is abuse. I'm an intelligent enough CHRISTIAN mom to do my homework before I decide to abuse my child. Ezzo was thrown off the Marantha publishing roster for a reason.

A CHRISTIAN? Really? That's a great testimony you've got there. You might want to look into that cussing problem.

If thats the best you can do to address that fact that Ezzo is abuse and that most Christian organizations and thinking Christian moms know this.....well, you've made my point for me. Ignorance breeds ignorance.

I have hard feelings towards abusers. Ezzo is abuse and it's overly PC crud to try to "not hurt feelings" to put it otherwise. I don't believe Jesus would want us to treat our children in this way, no matter how nicey nicey you want to put it to make yourself feel better ( ... )

I just have to comment on this. Who are you to assume we are abusing our children? I hate to say this, but I am going to. Anyone that STARVED their child to death b/c they were too STUPID to respond to their babies HUNGER cry needs help. Ezzo never tells you to make your child wait to eat. He says if your baby seems hungry earlier then FEED him/her and adjust the eat/play/sleep routine. My baby is in the 90th percentile for height and weight. Does that seem like abuse? He can be held by anyone b/c he is friendly and happy. He loves his room and his crib and isn't afraid of it. He is contented. Thanks to babywise. I cannot stand it when baby-wearing moms get on tangents about scheduling a baby. At least I don't have to carry my baby around in a Baby Bjorn all day and my child is happier b/c he is confident in his routine.

I understand. You are bitter b/c your children (if you have any, run your life. It's ok. I forgive you.
