I will definately be letting you know when I head to L.A. again. It would be soo nice to have someone to go with and not have to sit the whole time in the car alone! emailed you about the shoe salesman last night, so here's the rest of my reply. I know what you mean about the drive. Very dull. And long. I can do it with my eyes closed though. Which is good, cuz then I can sleep. :) Let me know anytime you want to go. Weekends only, without lots of planning (work). But then you have school, so you're prolly the same way. I was thinking of going down in January (end of) and hitting Disneyland and Universal Studios with M (maybe D if I can convince her). Wouldn't it be cool to catch CR at the same time? You wanna join me?
The drive really is borring. And what's worse is I really have no difficulty zoning out at the wheel so it's dangerous too. LOL Even singing along to my music doesn't help esp. if it is really sunny and bright out or if it's night. I don't think I'll be driving long distances at night alone anymore. :) The one time I did it on the way home from seeing CR in Santa Cruz I pretty much almost died by drifting in front of a car on the freeway. Like RIGHT in front. Eek!
Anyways I'll let ya know about going. :) If I go before the PBP weekend in the middle of Feb. I have to go before the middle of Jan. because I'll be housesitting for a month for these people's house and their dog so no trips for me then. But $$$ which is great since I have the PBP and I'm going to NY in April. Yay! :)
That's why I totally need somebody else in the car. Although the drive home last week was easy. No worries. Course that was leaving LA at 5pm. It'd be so cool to go with you. Let me know. Plus, I have night blindness, so at some points on the 99 I cannot see. Go completly blind. Doesn't always happen. But someimes... it's very good to have someone else in the car.
oh the shoe salesman. now i'm almost glad he kept us as long as he did. although at the time i could've killed him. 'let's us go to find them already!' since we all know how the night turned out, probably best i didn't push. you know... leave it to that fate thing and all. - convince D.? you'll have to convince me to do Universal (or U Stu as we like to call it), and Disneyland in the same fucking weekend. i don't know if my old bones can handle it... nor if i can get babysitting clearance. but Disneyland is definitely on, girlfriend. soon.
Come on... you know you want to do both! Oh alright. We can do Disneyland in January and Universal in February. Happy, now? But I wanna do both! WAH!
And D should totally come with. And Briel. And anyone else I can kidnap. hehehe. I love groups for amusement parks. Though not too many people. Of course, just us would be tons of fun too.
And the shoesalesman! Love him! What was his name? We should call Nordstroms and say thanks to him. That would be funny. :P I think I'm really hyper right now. And I think I broke a nail. That sucks. Whatever.
Okay, I just invented a new snack food-- couch potato mix! Bag of mini-nutter butters, bag of mini-oreos, bag of m&ms, mag of your favorite nuts (preferably the honey sweetened variety). Mix them all in a bowl. Unhealthy trailmix. YAY!
