A book, based on a movie, based on a series of books...
Just looking at the novelization of the BSC movie and wondering why they didn't just get Ann M Martin (or one of the ghostwriters) to write the novelization - does anyone know what the deal was here?
Also - has anyone ever come across any books apart from the movie novelization featuring either the movie cast or the TV cast on the covers? I haven't, but just wondering if there were any short-lived attempts. It just strikes me as weird - when the Roswell books were turned into a TV series, they were reissued with new covers, and there were tons of tie-in editions for TV series in the '90s.
