Naoto was Not Happy. It was pretty obvious that she was Not Happy, having ended up with the task of gathering information about this place, but if Heine was going to be such a jerk about not telling her anything, she'd just do all of the work by herself. Naoto was great at making friends. Just fantastic, a regular social butterfly. Especially when she was already pissed off.
Anyone passing her would have seen a dark-haired girl of about twenty, arms folded and a sullen expression on her face. Despite her efforts to wipe it away, something like ash still covered parts of her dark shirt and skirt, and a few scrapes marked her cheeks and knees. A partially-doubled belt holds the dark sheath of a katana, which she makes no effort to hide despite not knowing this place's weapon laws. Bruised and tired-looking, she doesn't look like she'd be much of a threat even if she'd meant to be.
Now, all she had to do was wait. Naoto leaned against the side of a building, something like that looked vaguely like a library, and waited for people to pass by on their way in or out of the cabins. It seemed like the most logical place to start.
[if you feel like threading but your character isn't the type to approach strangers, just have them walk by and she'll call out.]
