It has been 2 weeks since we've moved and although the house won't fully be ready till August, we are settling in slowly. However while my parents' house is an extremely comfortable size for Merrill, me and my sister, it will be a little too crowded for comfort once my parents move back to Singapore in a few years and when we have kids of our own. For the past few months we have been going around checking out properties and finally made an offer a few days ago. As of yesterday, the papers have been signed and cheque for the deposit handed over. This will be our home in a couple of years. I'm really excited about doing up our own place again when the time comes and also love the location. It's really quiet and we are pretty much only a >5 mins drive from my parents' place and also all my closest girlfriends. :)
