Feature Wall
I'm sure everyone is sick of reading about house reno stuff but I'm so happy with how the feature wall in our room is coming along that I just have to post up a pic.
You can't tell from the photo but the black strips are actually a velvet material. The colour is also more like the right side in real life, the left side looks a tad orange coz of the down lights. Anyway the wall is not completed yet. There's gonna be an off white wallpaper with an embossed leafy print in the recessed centre and then a timber frame around it. I'm also loving our new bathroom door which has a frosted glass centre. And the photo below shows the plantation blinds in our study area. They are ridiculously expensive (and heavy!) but we love the look of them.
