Episode 10.6 Exploring Life
Welcome back!! First I must say that this is a short episode… I could have sworn I took more photos, but who knows… This episode is kind of an inbetweener… After the next episode we will have our first heiress poll and start working on the winner’s story!!
Last episode Winter grew up, Zeke grew up, Starfire was given a dog, Moonbeam grew up, and Starfire grew up! Lots of birthdays! This episode has no birthdays… But I hope you like the surprise near the end!!
Great timing Starfire! First day of high school is also a Friday! Don’t ya love that?!
Starfire had made a friend on her first day!! This is Roxanne! Starfire was going to her house after school!
Roxanne: “Oh and you have to watch out for the Ashleys.”
Starfire: “Ashleys?”
Roxanne: “Yeah they are gorgeous girls who are all named Ashley and they make fun of other like me and you.”
Starfire: “Oh… That’s lame! But thanks for keeping an eye out for me!!”
Zeke and Moonbeam were so excited to get their weekend started that they came home and sat down in the foyer to do their homework…
Zeke: “Tables? Who needs ‘em!”
That night the family had grilled cheese fro supper and Moonbeam mentioned art…
Moonbeam: “You guys should paint tomorrow! You haven’t painted in a long time!”
"Winter: “You know, you’re right!! We should paint together, Starfire!”
Starfire: “Sounds like a plan!”
So the next morning Starfire and Winter painted together…
Moonbeam played dinosaurs with her imaginary friend Comet…
Moonbeam: “RAWR!!!”
And Zeke chatted with his imaginary friend Pal about school…
Pal: “And are there flowers?”
Zeke: “Loads of them! It’s so nice at the school!
Harlequin was feeling funny… Her ball no longer was fun…
And all she ever wanted to do was eat or sleep… She was causing a bit of worry for The Longs Family…
Starfire was outside, soaking up the sun when she heard an odd sound… It was a macaw! She approached with caution…
Starfire: “Here birdie… Get on my arm!”
Starfire: “There’s a nice birdie!! My, you are pretty! I will keep you safe until your owners call for you!”
Starfire took the bird inside and put a cage together in her room. She put the bird, which she began to call Sapphire, in the cage and it seemed happy.
Starfire: “There you go Sapphire!”
Moonbeam: “Wow! You have a bird now!! You should paint it’s picture!!”
Starfire: “I’m going to take it’s picture and see if anyone’s lost it… If not then I’ll try and keep it!”
Moonbeam: “It sure is pretty!!”
Another odd thing Harle was doing… She wasn’t sleeping just in her bed… She was in Zeke’s bed, on the couch, outside… Everywhere!!
The next morning, Moonbeam played cars with Comet until Harlequin woke up…
Moonbeam: “VRRROOOOOOMMMM!!!”
Comet: “Zoom! To the Moon!”
Moonbeam thought that Harlequin needed a walk to get her energy back.
Moonbeam: “Come on Harlequin! This way!”
The walk seemed to help. Harlequin was alert and seemed happy again!
Moonbeam: “Isn’t this nice? Isn’t this fun?!”
Back home, Zeke continued to work on the potion that could bring Pal to life…
Zeke: “I think I’ve almost got this!!”
Pal: “Just be careful!!”
Starfire was trying to see if Sapphire could talk, possibly telling her who owned her…
Starfire: “Who’s your Mama?”
Sapphire: “SQUAK!”
Starfire: “This is going nowhere…”
Gary: “There’s my girl! How are you Harle?!”
Harlequin was feeling better after walking, but she was still uncomfortable.
Winter made dinner that night.
Winter: “I haven’t used this grill in a while… But I love Hot Dogs!”
And after dinner Harlequin was making odd howling noises… The family rushed in just in time to see….
Harlequin had given birth to puppies!!! That’s why she was acting weird! It seems Harlequin and the stray dog became mates at some point!
Because of the puppies sudden arrival, they were named “Surprise” in two different languages! This one (Who looks the most like Harlequin) is named Ṻberraschung, German for Surprise! We can call her Berra for short!
And this one, who looks like the dad is named Verrassing which is Dutch for Surprise! We can call her Verra for short!! They are both girls!
Harlequin was feeling better now. She was a good momma and watched her little pups like a hawk! She didn’t want anything to happen to her little girls!
The puppies got new beds to sleep on! Verra is sleeping on the purple zebra bed while Berra sleeps on the pink cheetah spotted bed. They are very happy puppies! Welcome to the family!!
Don’t say I didn’t warn ya! I told you this episode was short! I apologize for the wait… Thing are slowing down a little so hopefully we will see a more steady flow of episodes!!
