This is a rather under-developed little cross over I did in a few hours. It doesn’t really have a name, but it’s my Dr. Who/Saiyuki cross over, which are two random fandoms that I’m pretty sure no one will actually know both of so they can get this wonderful cross over, but that’s okay, I wrote it for me more than anyone else.

Fandoms: Saiyuki and Dr. Who
Warnings: Language and a guy kissing a guy. (What, me? Not writing smut?)
Pairings: a little Gojyo/Jack and a bit of Gojyo/Hakkai

All comments welcome XD

The sound was almost drowned out by the sound of Jeep… almost, but there was a strange whirling mechanical sound. Hakkai was the first to notice it. Sanzo noticed it before he stopped Jeep and the two bickering children in the back noticed it only seconds later. Jeep came to a stop just as a strange blue box appeared in front of them, slowly gaining corporeal form.

“Well.” Was all Hakkai could manage.

“What the fuck. If this delays this damn mission I’m going to shoot someone.”

“That is so cooool!” Goku gaped at the thing. Gojyo just stared at the thing, lighting up a cigarette.

A second later the door started wiggling, unable to open because Jeep was blocking it.

“What? What aren’t you opening the door.” It was a strange almost high male voice.

“It won’t open.” The girl sounded annoyed as the door shook again. “Did you park it against a wall?”

Gojyo raised an eyebrow. “Oh, I wonder what they were doing in there.” Gojyo commented, getting a glare from Sanzo.

“There’s someone out there.” It was a different, lower male voice.

“It’s sounding like my kind of party now.” A fan hit Gojyo’s head and hey winced. “Fucking monk.”

Hakkai put Jeep into reverse, moving back enough for whoever was in the box to exit. “Very sorry, didn’t mean to block the…er door,” Hakkai apologized, getting out of Jeep to greet the new arrivals.

“Get back in the car, Hakkai, we’re leaving. I am not being delayed any long.”

The three travelers finally walked out, one grinning like an idiot and the other two with friendly smiles. “Hi, I’m the Doctor, and these are my companions, Rose and Jack,” that was the one smiling like an idiot, moving to shake Hakkai’s hand.

Hakkai smiled politely. “I’m Hakkai. This is Sanzo, Gojyo and Goku.” He gestured to them in turn.

Goku jumped over the seat extending a hand. “Hi! How did you all fit in there?”

Rose took it, smiling at him, “Oh, it’s bigger on the inside.”

Goku’s eyes widened, “Really?” He jumped out of Jeep, running to look.

“Dammit, we are not getting sidetracked here!”

“Oh, relax,” Gojyo and Jack said simultaneously.

Jack smiled at Gojyo.

“No!” the Doctor yelled, at Jack.

“What?”

“Hm, so, it looks like we’re in the middle of the desert….” Rose said, looking at the Doctor. “This isn’t going to meet Elvis.”

“Wow, this is huge!” Goku gasped, looking in the door.

“Hey, how’d you open that?” Doctor asked.

Goku shrugged. “I kinda pushed the door open.”

“That shouldn’t open unless you have a key!”

“Hey, not meeting Elvis!”

“He just opened my door!”

Jack smiled at Gojyo again, “You don’t happen to know where and when we are, do you, sweetheart?”

“Oh, goddess, another Gojyo, who likes men. Just what we need.” Sanzo cursed, slumping down in his seat on Jeep and glaring at the whole group.

“When?” Hakkai asked.

“I swear, Jack, I get distracted for two seconds and you’re trying that line to get into someone’s pants.” The Doctor rolled his eyes. “We’re sort of, time travelers.”

“We’re in the, hm, tenth year of the Tang Dynasty. We’re actually a bit lost, somewhere heading west in Shangri-La, from Chang'an to India.” Hakkai answered dutifully.

The Doctor looked up, doing some math. “So, I’m only…thirteen hundred…ish years off…”

Rose rolled her eyes. “And on the opposite side of Earth.”

“At least I’m on the right planet.”

“What are we even suppose to do in place like this? We’re in the middle of nowhere and no sign of other people except these four,” Rose complained.

“Sanzo-sama! Hand over the sutra!”

“Oh, Fuck, you had to say something,” Sanzo cursed, looking at the oncoming horde. This was going to take his time and if these assholes hadn’t gotten in their way in the first place. He pulled out his gun, glaring at them.

Doctor glared at the gun. “If you’ll all get in the TARDIS, we’ll be perfectly safe.”

“TARDIS?” Hakkai asked, looking at the blue box that looked like it would be uncomfortable for one person.

“I’m all for cuddling with pretty ladies, but this…”Gojyo started.

“It’s really huge inside, come on, guys.” Goku said, excited to explore the new place. He ran in when the Doctor opened the door, the rest reluctantly following.

Hakkai walked back to Jeep. “You’ll have to leave the car,” Doctor said, looking at him like he was a little crazy.

“Oh, I would never leave Hakuryuu.” The Jeep turned quickly into a dragon and flew into the small box, not seeming at all disturbed by the strange paradox.

The door closed behind them, Hakkai looking around, fascinated, Goku bouncing around and Sanzo still looking sullen.

“You think that door’s really going to hold off a good fifty angry youkai?”

“Oh, that shouldn’t be a problem.” Doctor said, “Nothing can get in that door without the key…with the onetime exception of your friend there.”

Goku looked very happy to be an exception.

“Right,” Sanzo obviously didn’t believe him, keeping his gun out, looking extremely uncomfortable.

“Is he always like that?” Doctor asked Hakkai.

“Oh, yes.” Hakkai said, smiling politely.

“Sounds like he needs a good tumble,” Jack said, looking over, “I always had a thing for blonds.”

The gun was aimed at Jack’s head who slowly backed away.

Gojyo leaned against a wall, getting comfortable, but a little too nervous to get next to the many controls. “So this thing travels? Could it get us to India any faster than we’re getting there?”

Sanzo glared at Gojyo, “Did you not just hear him say he was thirteen hundred years off and no the opposite side of the world from where he should be?”

“Now, really, that’s unfair,” the Doctor argued.

Rose laughed, “But he’s right.”

“Well, yeah, but it’s not like every time…”

“When have you actually ended up where you meant to?”

“It’s more often than you’d think.”

“Okay, love birds, give it a rest,” Jack smiled, putting his hands up.

The Doctor walked back over to Hakkai, looking at the dragon resting on his shoulder. “Did your Jeep really just turn into a… a dragon?”

“His name is Hakuryuu, and yes.”

“The little flying rat follows him around everywhere,” Gojyo added.

“But how did he transform… I don’t think I’ve ever seen a species that did that.”

“Wow, something even the great Doctor doesn’t know,” Jack said, walking up to the animal and trying to pet it.

“No,” Doctor scolded.

“What!?

The Doctor bounced over to Goku, “And you, how did you open the TARDIS?” He brought out his sonic screwdriver and started scanning him.

“What the hell is that?” Sanzo asked, glaring at him. “If you fucking hurt him…”

“Oh, it’s perfectly safe,” Doctor said, not even looking up. “Huh. I’ve never seen these kind of readings on a human before… it’s like he was made of the Earth itself…”

Gojyo and Hakkai looked at Goku, “Well, he’s not human, really,” Hakkai answered.

The screwdriver got up to the limiter on Goku’s forehead. “And what is this?” he continued as if they weren’t even there. He reached up to touch it, but Sanzo rushed up to stop him before he could, grabbing his wrist.

“Don’t even touch it.” The glare was enough to make any person nervous; the Doctor returned a glare for just a second before he smiled his idiot’s smile and backed up.

“No problem. So you want to go to India, any particular reason?”

Goku was the first one to speak up, “Some very bad person is mixing magic and science and causing all the youkai to go crazy and mean so they can raise up a very evil bad youkai from a LONG time ago.” He had a big, ‘I’m being helpful’ grin.

“And what’s a youkai?” The Doctor asked.

“They’re just another kinda person. There are humans and youkai and they use to get along for the most part. But now they try to kill people and eat them.”

The Doctor looked confused, looking over at Rose. “Did I miss a part of human history where there was another species they use to coexist with?”

Rose looked just as confused. “You got me.”

“But they’re looking for Sanzo’s scriptures so that they can release the guy!”

“Scriptures?” The Doctor asked looking at Sanzo and the pages over his shoulders.

“Don’t even think about it. You’re damn glowing stick gets anywhere near me and I will shoot you in the head.”

“Well, this is such nice company. Anyway, you’re looking for a hub of energy that is effecting the way that one species is working, to try and bring peace back and keep this ancient evil from rising. Sounds like fun.” He walked over to the controls, looking at the camera for just outside. “Still blood thirsty mob outside, so how about we move.”

“I do not want to end up 400 years late for my mission.” Sanzo snarled.

“Then we’ll just move in space, not in time. It can do that, you know.” He pushed down on a control and the box lurched, knocking all of them to the ground except Jack, Rose and the Doctor. Hakuryuu took to the air, squawking protest. “It takes a little longer,” the balanced changed and they all went rolling to one side of the room, “but it will get us there quicker than your Jeep, no offence,” he said the last right to Hakuryuu who just chirped a little, ‘none taken.’

Suddenly it felt as if they crashed to the ground, shaking the entire ship. Jack went to help Gojyo up, earning a glare from the Doctor. Sanzo got up, walking over to the control panel. “Where the hell did we end up.” He looked at the screen and was extremely surprised to see the inside of a building and across the way what looked like a woman buried in stone.

Hours later they were standing beside the TARDIS, exhausted and happy.

“I can’t believe it’s all over,” Gojyo said looking around at his friends, “and we all made it.”

“Well, these three had something to do with it,” Hakkai said, indicating the three time travelers.

“I’m ready to go home,” Sanzo grumbled.

“After all that you just want to go home?” Gojyo asked, disbelieving.

“Yes.” Sazno snapped, looking at the Doctor. “Can you take us back home?”

The Doctor smiled and shrugged, “Sure, I would be happy to, hop in.” He opened the door, letting them all come in.

As Gojyo walked in, he felt a hand smack his ass. He turned around to see Jack. “You know, I really am a lady’s man, not a man’s man.”

“You’re saying you’re not interested?” Jack asked, grinning smugly.

Gojyo smiled back, “No, I’m not saying that.”

Hakkai walked up from behind him, clearing his throat. He looked so disapproving that Gojyo almost wanted to laugh. “We’re all waiting.”

Gojyo just noticed he was blocking the door and moved aside, almost missing the glare that Hakkai gave Jack.

Jack didn’t say a word as he walked away from Gojyo, over to stand by the Doctor.

The trip back was even bumpier than the one there, ending at the temple. They were all getting ready to leave, each saying their ‘thank you’s and ‘good luck’s.

Jack shook Gojyo’s hand. “It was good to meet you,” he said, then looked over at a glaring Hakkai before pulling Gojyo forward to kiss him soundly on the mouth. Gojyo was a little surprised, but kissed back a bit before Jack pulled away. “You are going to thank me later for how jealous I just made your friend.” Jack said so just Gojyo heard. Gojyo looked back at Hakkai who was now stalking away.

“Hakkai!” He called, following after him.

Jack laughed, smiling at the Doctor, who was glaring over at him. Rose laughed a little, waving at them.

They were all turned away when the whirling sound started again, and by the time they turned around the blue box was gone.
