THE NOT SO LOVELY MAIDEN
- I’ll tell the King you deflowered me!
The young woman his friends abducted two weeks ago was no other than the King’s niece. What a bad luck!
When Tyler Hood discovered her true identity after being attacked and insulted by the blond girl, he decided at once to let her go. But the weather decided otherwise and just turned horrible. It had rained for days and they just couldn’t go anywhere.
And now, now that the sun was back she was threatening him. The king may want his head for thievery but he wouldn’t lose it for a crime he didn’t commit. Never in his life had he disrespect a maiden!
- Why would you say that? It isn’t true! Haven’t we been nice to you?
- You abducted me!
She was pointed her elegant finger at him.
- We did but I have been a gentleman to you even when your behavior hasn’t been that princess like.
- You pig! She cried and tried to go for his eyes.
He succeeded to stop her, holding tight on her hands.
- Can’t you just stop harassing me? I feel like the prisoner here!
- And that’s what you’ll be before being hanged when I go back to the castle and tell them where to find you!
- Ty’, whispered Brother Pogue, she is right. It may not be a good thing to send her back.
- But it would be worst to keep her here, answered Tyler.
Maiden Reid chose that moment to kick him hard in the shin.
- Look! She will be the death of me! I have been kind and courteous to her and she repaid me with growls, insults and violence!
- She is still here, you boor! She cried again.
- She may not like the Prince Charming type, continued Brother Pogue.
- Prince Charming type certainly runs away from her, she should give it a try with a toad if you want my opinion!
Maiden Reid kicked Tyler Hood’s other shin. Hard. Really, really hard.
- I will have you hang! She added.
- But… You can’t! Can’t you just be a good girl and go back home? Have all your beautiful dresses, servants, money or whatever and leave me alone?
She was now gazing at him like she wanted to strike him.
- I think she’s trying to tell you she fancies you, added suddenly LittleCaleb.
- Do not! They both cried at the same time blushing like children.
- Definitely do, answered Brother Pogue.
