I attended an education day yesterday on campus with speakers presenting on self-regulation, risk management, the history of midwifery in Ontario, and Dr. Michael Klein spoke as well.  He had a lot of interesting things to say, and made us all laugh a few times too.

I went to the school today and went over exams with some of my classmates who have to rewrite some of them, starting tomorrow.

The pace and pressure of this program is finally catching up with me.  I've had a stuffed up nose for a week and now with the lovely post-nasal drip, my throat is scratchy and tickly which makes me cough up yuckiness.  It's delightful.  I'm surrounded with kleenex, hot tea with lots of honey, cough drops, and a tiny pot of salt next to my nasal ( Read more... )

I'm sad to be leaving today.  I've packed my suitcase, I have some errands to run this morning and then we'll head out.  I told Jack yesterday afternoon that it felt like the last grains of sand were slipping through the hourglass.  It's a small comfort that I'll be back in 3 weeks for a few more days.
