work before play

I'm resisting the urge to throw my books off my desk and bring out my scrapbook stuff the way I usually do on Sunday.  I did sort through some pictures and plan out one page last night as a mental break from the research and APA references dominating my thoughts.

I have some school assignments that need my attention today; they should have been done days (and weeks!) ago so I just can't ignore them.  I only have three days this week when I can really work on school stuff so I need to make the most of it.

The weather continues to be extremely cold; it has been, and will continue to be -15 to -24C with "scattered flurries" of snow.  It could drop to -31 overnight in the next couple of days.  That's too darn cold.  Thankfully, it's going to warm up after Wednesday; -4 to -8 through to the weekend!

Now, while Charlotte and Julia watch "Monster House", I'm going to spread out my papers again and finish at least one paper today.  If I finish two, I'll plan a few more scrapbook pages tonight ;-)  Next Wednesday is the monthly scrapbook workshop so I want to be prepared, yanno ;-)
