In the past six days I have only been at home for one full day.

I've travelled nearly 3000 km.
...unpacked my suitcase twice.

...been interviewed for the two biggest newspapers in our province.

...been introduced as part of a delegation in our legislative assembly.

Oh Charlotte. Be still my heart. I can picture that so clearly. From Lily, the enunciation would be on the word "pamper". I laugh because it's true.

As in most situations, the reality isn't as bad as anticipated but it's still not something I'm anxious to do very often. I'm glad to do all I can to help get midwifery more available here and hopefully it will benefit me eventually as well!

The Minister of Health lied about consulting the privacy commissioner about changes he wanted to make to the privacy act. He didn't consult at all, then tried to back pedal his way out of it. The fact that a politician lied isn't breaking news, but that he was caught in it and then they had to vote to decide if they'd give him the boot or not...was told by the press and MLA's that something like this hadn't happened in almost 30 years.
