(no subject)
I sorted through a mega pile of dirty laundry, and put the first load on to wash.
I also sorted a mountain of recycling, filling bags and boxes of cardboard, pop bottles, plastic, milk jugs, and paper. It will leave my house tonight when Jack gets home, hell or high water.
I sorted several boxes that came out of Kim's room a few weeks ago - clothes that will be tucked away for little sisters, books (some kept, some for the public library, some for the church library, and some for the thrift store).
I cleared about 90% of the crap off my desk, finding several things I've been looking for. Maybe after New Year's I'll be able to actually sit down there and do school work!? What a novel idea.
Very little progress upstairs, although Charlotte is still napping, Kim is at work, and Julia left to play at her friend's house. I added several songs to my mp3 player and stuffed in my ear plugs while I worked; brilliant.
Still to do:
First, get off LJ and turn off my computer ;-P
Then, wash dishes, fold diapers, move laundry, sweep and vacuum floors, make supper, bake cookies, clean up (and purge) toys, brave the cold weather to return a movie, buy two forgotten items on the grocery list, bath the Littles, put together the girls' gifts from Abby and wrap them, find cards for in-laws' gift certificates.....should keep me busy for a while today.
