viva Las Vegas!
* Arrived.
* Slot machines were right outside the arrival gate, even before there was a bathroom to be found
* Had to take a shuttle to the other terminal to catch my shuttle to St. George.
* It's overcast and spitting rain here today, even some thunder and lightning and a balmy 31 degrees.
* Humid air conditioning in the airport, I sweat every time I move. Yuck yuck yuck.
$3 for a luggage cart = worth every penny
* cheetos and a diet coke for "lunch" instead of a freaky $9 tuna sandwich. Some real food soon plz?
* texting Jack throughout the day makes him seem not so far away
*I can't believe I'm in Vegas!
* US money looks like play money to me
* Very cool to see some of the famous landmarks of Vegas as the plane landed. Bizarre to see neighborhoods without a spot of green grass or trees, but a big pool in the back yard. Grass is reserved for a few public parks and golf courses I guess.
* Flight attendant jokes:
"Why is there no gambling in Africa? There are too many cheetahs."
"That rough landing is not the pilot's fault. It's not the flight attendant's fault. It's the asphalt."
* I slept a little on the plane. I would have sold my soul for a bed. Did I mention I hate traveling?
