I got Julia up this morning, package a huge lunch for her with some special things (like cheese string and chocolate pudding), basted her in sunscreen and bugspray and sent her on her way. If I wasn't sick, it would have been a lot of fun to take her and Charlotte to the Children's Festival. Our local rodeo has started this week and the parade is tomorrow morning, along with rodeo events, a barbecue downtown, concerts, cowboy church service, chili lunch, and all kinds of fun. The
last two years, I was *very* pregnant and I would watch my feet swell as I sat in a lawn chair in the hot sun. It will be bittersweet to see Charlotte experience her first rodeo parade.
Charlotte slept for three hours, long enough for me to have a nap and a shower (after the plumber's fixed the tub). Now to get dressed, check the mail, have some lunch, pick up cough medicine, and I am definitely going out to the cemetery. It's Friday.
Abby was born on a Friday night and died early Saturday morning so today feels a bit like the start of labour for me. So much more to say, but I hear Charlotte waking up, and she's coughing now too :-/
