frozen peas and paper cuts

Feb 26, 2007 11:31

I cleaned out my fridge and freezer this morning throwing out funky balogna, freezer burnt meat and expired salad dressing, then used the crevice tool on my vacuum to suck up the frozen peas that rolled under my fridge and into the far corners of the freezer compartment.

I've already washed dishes once and they need to be done again, I boiled eggs to make egg salad for lunches this week, copied paperwork for health insurance claims, (yaaawwwwnn), and sorted through a teetering stack of grocery flyers, bills, and school papers.  Julia has kept herself occupied using her toy medical kit on the dog (poor Sandy), and doing a dot-to-dot book I bought her last week.

I should feel some satisfaction in accomplishing tasks around the house but I can't help but wish for more.  Maybe some completed school assignments, a paycheque, a few wet newborns in my hands, or a picnic in the grass with Jack and the girls?

*sigh*

birthingway, remember the days of third trimester citas when we would plead, "no more vaginas!" by the end of the day??
