quickly, as the teenager MUST have the computer now

I haven't been posting nearly as much as I'd like to. Updates in point form is the best I can do.

Jack: working Mon-Fri 8-4 with occasional overtime. Works well for the family, but he's missing his week on/week off schedule.

Kim: doing really well in school. We don't see her nearly enough but she seems to be doing ok. We'll see her in June.

Julia: oh, so very THIRTEEN. She's loving her new BMX bike, has had her first heartbreak, and battles with us about .... everything.

Charlotte: still losing teeth here and there. She's outside all the time now; riding her bike, skipping, scootering, pretty much anything and everything that she can do outside. And she learned how to whistle, which annoys Julia to no end.

My work: busy, but good. Some challenging situations, some sad, most of them joyful. I love my job. In late June my team of 3 will be down to 2 again unless we can fill her mat leave (fingers crossed).

Life is just the usual busy. Packing away winter stuff, keeping groceries in the house, parent committees for Julia's grade 8 grad, Midwifery Association board business. Work committees. Doctor's appointments. Family coming to visit in June. Making plans for Charlotte's 8th birthday. An old, senile dog who piddles on the floor and bumps into walls. Vehicles to sell. The season of yard work begins. Allergies and asthma that are still kicking my butt.

Life is really good.
