The kids have been off all week from school. My house is evidence of that. And Spring is all over my floors.
Julia had a friend sleep over last night and I left for work before they even croaked their first word this morning.
I asked the kids to do two chores today; unload & load the dishwasher and sweep the kitchen floor.
I came home from work at 4:30 after a full day of clinic. The girls hadn't done anything in the house except track in more mud and dead grass. And they ate my bag of chips.
The girls were at the park all day or biking around the neighborhood. This is good.
Julia "forgot" to feed her sister lunch. Not so good.
Minutes after walking through the door tonight Jack asked me what I was making for supper. I asked him to repeat himself and then he asked, "What would you like for supper?" Mmm-hmmm.
*sigh*
Being a working mom sucks sometimes.
