* CPR recert. It annoyed me when some of the other participants made jokes while doing heart compressions on their baby CPR doll.
* Rain rain rain. I sat in the rain while Charlotte and Julia had their swimming lesson in the outdoor pool yesterday, sat in more rain while she had her last ball game, and Julia's last ball game was cancelled tonight.
* Packing. Boxes are piling up, cupboards are emptying, and there's already a bit of an echo in our living room.
* Birthday party prep. Baked cake pops in various colors, put them in a cake pan full of white cake batter and baked it. A polka dot birthday cake!
* The tired. So freaking tired these days. I actually considered having a nap in the pool's change room yesterday while the girls had their lesson, and when I kneeled on the floor to do something this afternoon I had to resist the urge to just lay down on the wood floor and sleep. I haven't been this tired since I was pregnant and NO, I am certainly NOT pregnant, just busy and exhausted.
* Jack. We don't see much of each other and when we do, one or the other of us is coming home from work or leaving. It's been almost a year since we all lived together in the same place and I'm ready to settle into our new house together.
* Graduation. Charlotte had her kindergarten graduation yesterday. Yes, there were a few bittersweet tears; my baby is finished kindergarten and it's another milestone that we didn't reach with Abby. I went into labour with Charlotte the day after Julia's kindergarten graduation!
* Abby. The due date that I had for both Abby and Charlotte is coming up on the 26th. And our neighbors had a baby girl recently and tied pink and white balloons to their front step to announce it.
That's what we had planned to do when we had Abby, and 7 years ago our previous neighbors had a baby girl not long after Abby was born. With it being the month of June, seeing those balloons just pricks my memory in a crazy, deja-vu kind of way.
