I spent about 5 hours reading sociology stuff then decided to go for a walk to Starbucks, sip something cool and read my book. It was much hotter out than I thought it would be and very humid (it was 28 but felt like 36 with the humidity) I was across the street from where Starbucks was, noticed I would have to walk another block or two to cross the street and backtrack to Starbucks and I was just .... wilted. I turned around and walked home, peeled off my sweaty clothes and read my book on my bed with nothing on but my undies and the air conditioner.
I've been adding to my ring of drug cards tonight, we had a late (but very tasty) supper, coordinated bathroom schedules for the morning and now it's back to my desk.
It's an early morning tomorrow, a walk to the Go train station, then cross my fingers that everything goes smoothly and I can arrive at the midwifery practice on time (or early!), and not be a sweaty mess. At the end of the day I will have a chance to meet up with M, another IMPP student and then my roommate and fellow Saskatchewanian (?) arrives late tomorrow night.
Julia starts school tomorrow morning and she is very excited! I wish I could be there to take her picture and see her off to school, and I can't even think of Charlotte going off to kindergarten without me. With my own stresses about starting classes, and the hormonal PMS storm happening right now, I can't even think about it without crying.
Aaaaand on that note, it's back to my drug cards and FHS worksheets.
