the kids: they make me laff
At suppertime while we were discussing the extremely cold weather Julia glanced at the bit of frost on the kitchen window and asked me, "Mom, did they have glass windows when you were a kid?" No way! The dinosaurs could easily break them :-P
And Julia has had a headache this afternoon that didn't go away despite a rest, a drink, and a snack. So when Charlotte saw me break out the grape flavored children's motrin for her sister, she said, "Mommy, I think I've decided to have a headache too."
LOL - even when I'm cold, headache-y, crampy and tired .... they can make me smile. I'm so lucky to be their mom :-)
