day one of my trip to Vegas!
October 30th (day one)
* On the road early in the morning, long drive to the airport
* Arrive in Vegas around 5:30 p.m. Two limos meet us (13 people) and we load them up with our luggage
* My first time in a limo, and my first time having champagne
* Our first stop was the Welcome to Vegas sign
* We checked into our hotel. Our room was right across the street from Coke World and M&M World!
* After we dropped our bags in our rooms, we met downstairs and headed out on the Strip!
* We walked to New York New York. There is a statue of liberty outside the hotel that is exactly 1/3 the size of the real one.
* inside the hotel lobby there is a candy store. They have a statue of liberty made out of jelly beans!
* and giant candy!!
* For supper we went to a fish & chips place inside of the hotel. The streets looked like old New York - very cool.
* After we ate, we headed back out to the streets. It was very strange to see alcohol being sold right on the streets!
* After supper, we took the bus to the Wynn hotel then started walking back to our hotel.
* Walked past Treature Island Hotel and watched the pirate ship show.
* Walked to the Bellagio - beautiful Fall display in the atrium
* Then we checked out the chocolate fountains and pastry shop insdie the Bellagio as well.
* I was too thirsty to think about desserts, so I ordered this instead of something sweet.
* then it was back to our hotel late that night
