Right, this is gonna be the last time i post here for quite a while, i decided to stop keeping tracks on anything else and focus on reading Half-Blood Prince - as it is gonna take a fair amount of time to finish the whole book. Although i *wish* there were more chapters in it, i can handle its weight come on! Is this Harry Potter thing turned me into a social incompetant? hope not LOL! What i meant by [ drop everything else ] was that the English version is definite harder than the translated one, right? and i'm not planning on rushing through the pages just to get to the last chapters so that I'd know everything and go post at some forum/webboard to show off other fans. --excuse me, if i sounded a bit bitchy but that happened to me a lot lately--
I need all the juicy details so, this time i'm gonna take my time relishing every details and who knows, maybe i might come up with a theory all by myself!! That'd be wonderful, i never did that. And i feel disqualified everytime i found someone's theory that's so brilliant and thought 'why the hell didn't i think of that? it's not so little to pass by unnoticed?' T-T
As much as this whole 'fan discovered theory' goes, i have to say i'm not quite buying it yet. Let me explain, in MY opinion, if you wanna read a book for entertainment purpose then read it and relax, enjoy not keep looking for every little hidden words/meanings/relations just to have theories. What the fun in that? But i understand a lot of you guys are genius and doing that doesn't disturp your fun in reading the book, which i always envy. As for myself, i cannot, for the life of me, do both things at the exact same time. Poor me. So with that said, i always ended up with nothing theory-wise the first time i finished every books in the series. I would start to look for clues or whatever in my second and third and so on time.
I resisted the urge to pick it up and read it nonstop since i got it from Se-Ed. I pre-ordered there and i was really glad i did 'coz on one can buy today, the books are strictly for those pre-ordered them! Great news, yeh, a bit selfish but who cares?!! It's the bookstores policies not mine. I got to trade my original copy of UK children cover -> US children cover, woohoo!! It was 60 bhts. more but who give a shit!? It's odd to find 80% of bookstores staff not read much themselves. Like this evening, the cashier was a bit taken aback when she returned to tell me that if i changed my cover, i would have to pay 60 more and wouldn't get a coupon worth 100 bhts but i said 'yeh, OK!' she must have thought i was insane or something ^^"
