just had to send this to you somewhere. But felt it wasn't a good place for it in your most recent post:
To stop this kind of senseless immoral behavior, is why I would be proud to go to war:
"BAGHDAD, March 20 - Insurgents detonated a bomb in a car with two children in it after using the children as decoys to get through a military checkpoint in Baghdad."
Earlier I wouldn't had a real stance on the war, or a real reason for supporting it, other than I just do, but now I am sure. You can't use innocent people's lives (esp those of children), to further your own political/social/personal goals. To me using children in a car bomb and parking the car bomb outside a school, is just wrong. Pure and simple. And it must be stopped.
Sophomore, you amaze me. And I mean that in a genuinely good way. I know we disagree about the war, but I have so much respect for your convictions and your willingness to fight to fix the wrongs in the world.

The entire article is here: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/21/world/middleeast/21iraq.html?th&emc=th (but I don't know if you can get to it from there, so I'm also posting it to my facebook, just incase you are so inclined).
