Today is a great day, and not just because all the neighborhood brats started school today (ahh, peace & quiet). No, something even better happened. Something so great that I'm able to ignore my aching wrist (not what you think, pervs) and back.
Supernatural S1, Oz S6, and Lost S2 came out on DVD today. And yes, I was at Best Buy at 9:50 a.m. Don't judge me; I was determined to beat out the fanboys & fangirls for those Best Buy bonus discs, because OMFG, the SPN disc has the Paley panel!!!
Dude, I haven't been this dorkily excited and wide awake before 9 a.m. since I made those three phone posts when fenwic and I went to see the boys at Paley. (The dorky excitement is numbing the pain of parting with all that money.)
Oh, yeah, it looks like there's some cool stuff on the Lost disc. (Okay, what kind of fucktarded logic compells a salesperson to display the special Lost sets in a completely different part of the store?!). But that and the final season of Oz can wait. Smallville S5 comes out next week, so I think the Ozzies are on the backburner with the ladies of Stars Hollow. Plus, there's no big rush since the nunstrip is in S5 ;)
I'll be in my bunk. I'm off to watch the boys, then off to work.
