A 12-year-old boy died on Rock 'N' Roller Coaster at Disney-MGM Studios. So maybe it was a good idea for Best Friend and I to postpone our "OMG, we're 30!" Disney World trip until next year.

Smallville Backstage Special -- for bliss_. From 2004. See the Talon set in all its brightly-lit fugliness! Brooke Burke looks like she was dressed by S1 Lana. Yikes. But there's some good stuff: Tom Welling is adorable, hot and not wearing his wedding ring. Kristin Kreuk wears gigantic earrings. Rosenbaum calls Broke's tan "fascinating," and is totally adorable while bantering with Welling ("It's kind of life imitating art") and talking about nude scenes. Then he confesses his initial fear of John Glover. BTW, anyone know what's on Rosenbaum's t-shirt?

Tool, "The Pot" -- Ah, it's not about that kind of pot. As always, Maynard's lyrics are pretty clever.
Stevie Wonder, "My Cherie Amour" -- I captioned a guy singing this on Showtime at the Apollo. His rendition was meh at best, but it reminded me of this song's simplicity & beauty. It also made me yearn for old-school Stevie. Not that he's not great now, but his music's just... different.
Donna Summer, "Bad Girls" -- I'll admit it: this song is a guilty pleasure. Though when I was younger, I didn't catch on that she was singing about hookers. Now it reminds me of Lindsay from Arrested Development.
