And you're only halfway through hurricane season. WTF?! Our so-called earthquake season is dependent on plates moving, or whether said quakes are stuck on the 405 or 10. But you're guaranteed tropical storms (which aren't half as romantic as they sound), tornados, and hurricanes. Even worse, they move! They can stalk you! Earthquakes are lazy; they pick a spot & stick to it.

In random hurricane news, have you seen Henry Lee, the sherrif of Jefferson Parish (near New Orleans), on the news telling everyone to "haul ass out of here"? I'm related to him. He's either my fourth- or fifth-cousin, on my grandma's side. From what I've heard, he's um, quite a character. Very southern but not a goold ole boy, though he's been known to handle things in unique ways. And that's all I'm saying, because I enjoy being alive.
TV notice: Prison Break starts tonight on FOX, with back-to-back episodes. Nope, it's not Oz, but it'll do. (aivilo_18 needs to get home soon, because Robin Tunney, one of her girls from The Craft, is in it.) I saw the first hour & it wasn't bad. But if you're easily hung up on plausibility, get over it. This show's worth giving a try. And, it's on FOX, so there's always a chance that two hot inmates might fall in love & make out on screen. * crosses fingers *
I'm at episode 112 in the QaF season 1 rewatch. It's weird to revisit a time when I didn't completely hate Michael, and when Gale & Randy still used lots of tongue. Mmmm, Gale & Randy. * loses train of thought * I'll pick up from that spot another time ;)
Off to watch last night's Entourage. For softeranswer's sake, I hope we get to see bedhead!Mandy Moore. Last week seemed empty without Mandy, though I loved seeing Beverly D'Angelo (and her boobs) as an uber-bitch agent. Makes up for the disheveled!Beverly we got on SVU.
