Gleeeeee

I'm not sure how many of you know this but I don't have television at home. That's like making a coffee addict go on a cold turkey treatment by draining the world's coffee supply, or taking away yarn and crochet hooks from an addicted hooker, or depriving a food addict from eating anything except fruits. LOL Fine, I'm making poor references but you get where I'm going, don't you?

So, without a TV cable (yeah, after my family moved back, I haven't bought a TV cable to connect my TV to receive local channels), the only source of TV programs are online. I have been faithfully watching my usual doses of Project Runway (I love this season's winner - Seth Aaron), America's Next Top Model Cycle 14 (which is absolutely rigged but I can't stop watching), CSI: and CSI:NY, King of the Hill (best redneck cartoon ever), and Family Guy. I've recently added Seinfeld, 30 Rock, and Glee to the list.

If you like High School Musical (I only saw the 1st and 2nd one, and I still insist Zac Efron is gay), then this is the show for you. In fact, it's waaaayyyyyy better than High School Musical. It's got a better cast, great singers (Zac Efron didn't sing on HSM at all), a hell lot of creativity (esp. with the Madonna episode), and more real than HSM (i.e. it touches on relationships, self-confidence issues etc) that many high school kids face today.

I didn't start with the first episode of the show (because they don't have it on the network's website or Hulu) plus I'm too lazy to search for it so I started off in the middle (episode 11 or something), and I got hooked right away. Aside from the wonderful singing abilities these actors have, they are also pretty good at acting. I like the glee club's teacher - Will Schuester (in the picture), and Lea Michele's character, Rachel Barry.

I think the best episode was the "Madonna" episode. It paid great homage to Madonna and they made Sue wear a cone bra. How awesome is that??

Therefore, if you're tired of watching your usual TV shows, why not give Glee a try. Hell, I think EVERYONE should be watching Glee. I guarantee it'll make you wanna sing out loud and sing away the blues! (Worked on me!) ;)

Watch Glee episodes online at www.fox.com/glee/ or on Hulu.

Okay, back to studying now. LOL
