MEDIAWEST UPDATE:
Going to Mediawest*Con? Great! WANT to go to Mediawest*Con? Come! Have fun!! If you're a furry, the more the merrier, as MWC wants to introduce more furry creativity to the con.
Registration is open until May 1, however, and there aren't any at-door admissions. But if you want to get yourself a day pass and come and play, go to
http://www.mediawestcon.org/mwc35.htm and read up on what to do! if you have any questions, I'll also be happy to help, so shoot me a line as well!
COMMISSIONS:
I'll have a Table with Tim Kangaroo this year. Together we've joined forces as PONY PETE PRODUCTIONS! If you want fun and funky art prints, we'll both have a variety in stock! But here's the best part: We'll also be taking sketch commissions! So if you'd like me and Tim to do a sketch of your fursona, or a favourite character be it Pony or human or otherwise, check us out! We work quick, our prices are reasonable, you'll end up with one of a kind art, and we're both salesponies NON PAREIL!
Also next to us, if not nearby, will be Shel Coll and Alesia Tom! Shel makes buttons and luggage tags and magnets, and I gave her some unique The Real Ghostbusters and My Little Pony graphics for her to use!
Check them out as well for unique swag!
PANELS AND PARTIES:
Wow. LOTS of panels this year. If you like My Little Pony, want to learn more about the furry community, or want an introduction to this Real Ghostbusters cartoon I won't shut up about, my posse and I are delivering in spades! Check out the con book for the panel listings.
As for parties, you're all cordially invited to the PETER PINKIE PONY PARTY, held in the party suite on Saturday May 23 from 5 - 7 pm! We'll have games, mad libs, food, snack and prizes, and the TV will be basting a nice combo of both Real Ghostbusters and My Little Pony to show how amazingly fun both of these shows are. :)
Tim,
kinkyturtle and I also intend to host a Pony Sing Along, so if you want to see how furries and bronies shake things up on our side of the camp, come check it out, and party with us!
Outside of that, there will be fursuits in the Masquerade, new art in the art show, RGB and MLP in the video competition, and lots and lots of positivity. And if the fursuits aren't shaggy enough, by all means check out con ops to pet some real party animals: the Samoyeds belonging to Gordon and Lori Chapek-Carleton, who really know how to run a fantastic con that we're all happy to join the family of.
