Here's hoping the fireworks don't wake the exhausted baby, who is actually already asleep. If the fireworks DO wake the baby, here's hoping the people shooting fireworks understand why I'm holding a bat when I go talk to them. If that doesn't work, here's hoping the jury doesn't convict.
Alternately, here's hoping the light rain around here suddenly becomes a downpour so Zoey can keep sleeping.
Tonight's Amy's last night of work. Tomorrow, she'll sleep some, then we'll get down to the real packing effort. Thursday, we pack the truck. Thursday night, Amy and Zoey drive all night. Friday morning, in a perfect world, I pull out with the truck. By Friday evening, or alternately Saturday morning, we unpack. Unpacking depends mostly on when I get to town, which depends on when I get to leave.
So many things to keep in the air, and we're trying hard not to drop anyting.
More to follow as we can.
