Early Collapse

Let's try for an update, though probably an incomplete one.

Last weekend, I went to Dayton, and found a house for rent in Huber Heights. All the rents for apartments of a size we'll need are about the same amount, maybe a bit less, but this is the best choice as far as we can tell. Now we're waiting to hear that we definitely got it.

Move is on July 7, of course, so we can't wait long. We should know something soon, probably Monday or so.

Work's been kicking me around, trying to keep up with this daily-meeting art class. I'm managing, and it'll be over soon, but I'm terribly behind on being ready at any given moment.

Today, we had the yard sale. We made a bit over $100 by underpricing most of what we had, but we have much less to move. I still have boxes of tapes to get rid of, which I'll probably take to Chad's and have them give them away/sell them off.

Tonight's the last chance for me to see the Floating Men for a long time, and it's also the last night of Riverbend, so parking'll be awful. Nothing to be done about it but suffer. And of course, somehow, I'm expected to be at my rents' church tomorrow, and we'll have lunch at their place afterwards. On top of that, I've got to get my notes ready and a few papers graded for Monday, I'll need a nap, and I suspect my best friend from grade school might be hitting town for a pre-move visit. Another week of work, and next weekend will include a trip to Americus for the last chapter of the Southern Fried history. Then the last few days of classes, and I get to settle in to packing for the last few days. I'm already exhausted, and expect it to only get worse. Not that it's easy on Amy, but large sections of this (tonight's show, Americus) are all on me, so we're both expecting the worst.

How do I get through the next two weeks?
