I'm positive I would have resurrected my LJ before now had I noticed this sooner. It has totally been a year, so crazy. I'm still with Dylan, who I mentioned last year, so that is also crazy. He moved in with me on NYE , so we've been living together for almost a year. Hard to believe, haha.
This year has been pretty insane... We had tornadoes in April that were pretty horrific. Dylan and I were in my car as the 1st came through. A tree fell right behind us/ we drove under a falling tree then another on top of our car maybe 100ft later. I went into a ditch to avoid it but only the very top limbs were on us so after the first storm had passed, we're were able to push ourselves out of the ditch. It was raining horizontally, the winds were so strong. It felt like it was going t rip the door off my car as I got out to push. We sat in the dark for maybe 30 minutes, waiting for another tornado or another tree until it was finally light out. I think around 6:30am we tried to get out but were we're trapped by the tree we went under and the one that hit us. Took several hours for someone to cut us out. Totally insane. Oh, and Dylan and I had broken up the night before, so we didn't speak the entire time we were trapped, other than me barking commands at him.
THEN, I failed my last semester of nursing school by 2/10ths of a point. So embarrassing. I was super hard on myself at the time, it was like the second time I had been removed from a program right before graduation =P
Now I'm sort of pissed at them for not passing me, in my remediation class I have been talking to two of the professors at the other campus and they said that no one fails by that kind of margin (74.28 average, have to have a 75 to pass) and that they always find points for people that close. Not me =P
I'm retaking the semester and it starts in a month. I'm gonna be the most annoying asshole they've ever had to teach. It sucks though, the one that failed me is leaving the school, by Rizzo(my pediatric clinical advisor) assured me I should blame another one, who is still there, so I'll just annoy the piss out of her, ha.
I really hate that I've fallen out of touch with most of you. But i still get random calls from Greg and Marcus, so it's not all bad ;)
Oh damn, random as hell, but this week I may be moving in with Blake, my ex gf. She and I and Dylan have all gotten pretty close this year, so we have been looking at houses together. Sooooo dysfunctional, but I love it, haha. Hope you guys have a great holiday season, love all of you!
