Sober and Sombre Friday
What a day today is. TGIF!!!!!
Had a mini stress out today. Lis messaged me about her wedding to let me know that it is probably going to be too hard to fly in and fly out for the day as her reception will be at night and I think flights to tassie stop after a certain time.
Great.
So looks like we are probably going to have to get accomodation for the night somewhere and I freaked out a tad as basically from now until end of March 2011, money is going to be tighter than a cats bum and we have so much to organise financially.
It's all good now though.
I suddenly remember that I bought my organiser yesterday for a reason, for times like this when I feel my head might explode. I have penciled in a day (one that coincides with a future pay week to assure I also have money for this) where Bren and I can sit down, call up some caravan parks (Lis said that would be dirt cheap accomodation for us) and book everything we need for Tassie. Lis also said hire cars are about $40 a day.....the only ones I could find online were about $120 a day so I must be not looking on the right websites. I also want to compare the price of airfare+hire car with taking my car on the spirit of tassie and see which would be cheaper.....but anyways no more thinking about this until the day I have penciled in!
Well in other not so special news, on my mission to be the worlds daggiest homosapien I recently burnt a cd with 100 of the best songs from my high school years and have now thought of another edition. Don't ask me why I want to bring back those days. I don't even miss or crave drugs anymore, I crave feeling healthy and having time to do all the things Ive been missing. But everytime I hear one of these songs I feel nostalgic and appreciate what I have accomplished in life so much more. It also spurs me on to keep going with life because I was such a different person back then. That was only 2 years ago, it makes me wonder who I will be in another 2 years!
