Favorites and change

What's your favorite color?

"Purple!"

"Purple" will always be my response to that question. Why? Why not. I'm not sure when, but one day I decided I liked the answer purple. "Purple" is a cool word. I'm a silly girl. I decide things like canned answers to questions that don't matter. But is purple actually my favorite color? Sometimes. I don't really have a favorite anything though. I like to change my mind. What I want most depends on my mood.

Some find it strange that I don't have a favorite place for pizza. I like pizza from many different places. Sometimes I'm in the mood for pizza from Anthony's Coal Fire Pizza. They have a more artisan style pie and I love their sauce. Other times I'd prefer Vito's. Their pies are flat and generally what I would call a more standard pizza. They're two completely different experiences of flavor. And I will try pizza once from just about anywhere, always searching for something different to try and add to my list of go-tos.

So, colors and foods: I like variety. Technology however, is starting to make me feel old.

I meandered into the Apple store a few days ago with a friend and started fooling around with the new iPad.

I own the first generation iPad. When I got it, I had no idea what to do with it. I now use it every day, if only to entertain my 3 year old. I recently tried to download for him a new game to play, but because my iPad is so very old, being the same age as my son, it is starting to become increasingly obsolete. It doesn't have the required technology for many of the new games a tech savvy 3 year old would enjoy playing.

As I... more on this uninteresting post later. Maybe. Probably not.
