Wohoo! I have found the way.
I just finalized my last semester schedule of grad school! A semester short of a decade at MSU, and I'm running out of there like my ass was on fire.
I have to take my last grad requirement, TC 840, which is basically a digital media project class; I'm also taking documentary film making, TC 448, which looks awesome as I have been a video production bystander for far too long.
And I finalized my thesis today with my committee chair. I am going do a little study on the perception of surround sound; in essence, I am going put together three pieces of video/audio, mix them down to mono, stereo and 5.1 and then have a group come in and do a blind study. (Which do you like better?)
Easy, fun, and something that will look very good on the 'ol vita. (Encoding dolby surround is a BITCH; kind of like what flash is to non-geeks.)
