The lack of updates recently is due to the fact that I've been unbearably depressing for the past few days, due to angsting over (in no particular order):
BigBang
The Fine Art Society exhibition piece I'm attempting to finish
The lack of Scotty/Chekov fanfic and the lack of a response to my kinkmeme promptHaving to trapise to the library for a(n

I shouldn't stress over things that aren't important, like the BigBang (even though I have no idea what it is, I'm guessing you won't die if you don't do it. :P) and your odd obsession with Star Trek, because these are supposedly enjoyable things that you *like* doing, so should hardly make you stressed.
I can understand the university stuff, because that sort of needs to be done if you are to continue with your degree. Having said that, you'll shortly have all summer to work on an excellent idea for a dissertation, so I wouldn't worry about that too much at the moment. :-)
The weather you can sadly do nothing about, and there's no point in having friends if you can't make a hurtful comment, guffaw at their expense and then say "But we're friends - you know I don't mean these things!" as they silently weep to themselves and vow to never speak to you again.
Probably the bursting into tears over lunch thing was because you've been dwelling on all this stuff that you have to do when you've so little time, but if you remember to boil it down to what's really important, then you'll be fine.
Only you could moan about the weather and go out and buy a cardigan... :P If you'd gone out and bought another nice summery dress, then we'd have had nice, summery weather, but as it is you decide to buy an item of spring/autumn clothing and now we've got spring/autumn weather. It's all your fault! hehe
Anyway, I hope this post has made some sort of sense. I'd propose coming over to see you and bringing a wet fish to slap you with, but sadly cost (and distance) prohibits such an action, so I propose you get out my gift and give it a rub.
(I hope it goes well with your new blue outfit! :D)

The BigBang is a fanfiction challenge, basically. What's irritating me is that I have the minimum wordcount, but my story is nowhere near finished. And one of the stipulations is that it has to be finished. D: (I'm stressing about it because I really want to finish, because if I do, I'll get an illustration. I've never had illustrated!fic before!) I'm stressing about the Star Trek obsession because it worries me. (Don't call me odd! You haven't seen all the pretty damn fine men in it, being all hot and brave and whatnot!) BUT YOU ARE STILL RIGHT, I shouldn't stress about these things, they're supposed to be fun. *nods*
My only problem is that I have to hand in a title on the 17th, at the latest. D: Maybe I'll just had in something vague and then firm it up over the summer. (They don't mind you changing it over the summer, or at least that's what they tell us.)
LOL! I hope you've never vowed not to speak to me again! That would suck. (And also make no sense, because here you are speaking to me ...) I think I'm just being overly sensitive to my own foot-in-mouth-ed-ness, lately. As I think I said before, they've probably forgotten all about these things by now.
"Probably the bursting into tears over lunch thing was because you've been dwelling on all this stuff that you have to do when you've so little time, but if you remember to boil it down to what's really important, then you'll be fine." -- You're right. And that's probably the best advice I could've asked for. Thank you. :)
I bought the cardigan today (in the nice weather)! So it's not my fault, because the crappy weather came before the cardigan-buying! If I buy the dress tomorrow, maybe the two items will cancel each other out ...? OR, maybe buying autumn clothing is the shopping equivalent of taking an umbrella with you: if you have and umbrella with you, you never need to use it, but if you don't, it (nearly) always rains -- so, buying the cardi was insurance against cold weather. I don't know if I'm making the slightest bit of sense right now. >.>
*rubs it* :P I'm sorry you can't come and attack me with damp piscines; my life will be far, far emptier without that to look forward to. *snerk*
(And yes, it does go rather well! Good choice once again, Mr Lowe! :D)
((Noooo, it's mine! *clings to it* We can share if you like?))
(((Epically long comments are epic. And long. LOL! ... Is that how you spell 'Epically'?)))
