Idol Thoughts (hyuck-hyuck)
Well, Shawn Johnson won Dancing with the Stars instead of my girlfriend Cheryl Burke, but I guess I'm okay with that.
I really really really prefer Kris to Adam on AI, but I think I can manage not to freak out too hard if Adam wins tomorrow. I actually don't think Adam will win, but I realize that it is a very real possibility at this point. I just don't want him screeching at me any more. Or desecrating a classic like "A Change is Gonna Come." I don't hate him on like, a Kate McPhee level, but I really don't want him in my face any more either.
I will be exremely extremely happy if he and Ryan become a couple though! And I think it might be a possibility with the way they were nervously grabbing each other's hands tonight. So cute! I know a lot of people hate Ryan Seacrest, but I mean, he's (probably, mostly) human, and he deserves love too. And I think Adam's laidbackness would nicely compliment Ryan's jittery perfectionism.
So my ideal American Idol finale would include: 1) Kris Allen winning, 2) Kris crying in disbelief and gratitude, 3) a performance by season three third place finisher (and my future husband) Elliott Yamin, and 4) Adam taking Seacrest in his arms for a romantic kiss while the confetti falls. And also, Kelly Clarkson. If like, two of those things happen I'll be ecstatic. It's been a pretty good year regardless.
